A voice for all the Commonwealth

The Commonwealth Secretary-General, the Rt Hon Patricia Scotland KC, led a team of international policy experts and climate specialists from the Commonwealth Secretariat to COP28.

The team engaged in advocacy for urgent global climate action, amplified the voice of small states and vulnerable countries of the Commonwealth, strengthened networks and partnerships and exchanged knowledge and best practices to support climate change adaptation and mitigation in member countries.

The Commonwealth Secretariat hosted a pavilion at COP28, as a hub for member countries, development partners and other collaborators to use for events, presentations and networking sessions.
