The Commonwealth Secretariat will be hosting its 4th Commonwealth Connectivity Cluster Week Meeting from 2-4 May, 2023.
The Commonwealth Connectivity Agenda (CCA) was adopted at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in April 2018 to boost trade and investment links across the Commonwealth and raise intra-Commonwealth trade to US$2 trillion by 2030.
The CCA is structured around five working groups or 'clusters', each chaired by a member state and in which participation in on a voluntary, opt-in basis.
Organised under the theme, ‘Enabling Intra-Commonwealth Trade and Sustainability through Digitalisation’, this virtual event will gather together members of the five clusters, including:
- Physical Connectivity Cluster
- Digital Connectivity Cluster
- Regulatory Connectivity Cluster
- Business-to-Business Connectivity Cluster
- Supply Side Connectivity Cluster
It will be an opportunity to reflect on the initiatives and achievements of each cluster during the 2020-2022 period and scale up the implementation work of each of the clusters.
The outcomes from each of the clusters will form the basis for continued technical exchanges among policymakers and regulators, institutional capacity-building and joint action where there is agreement on a shared response.
