The meeting will take place on 20 April 2016 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and will facilitate discussions among members of the Commonwealth, Francophonie and the G20 on issues of mutual interest.
The 2016 Annual Commonwealth and Francophonie dialogue with the G20 is convened by the Secretariats of the Commonwealth and La Francophonie, together with China as G20 President and Chair of the G20 Development Working Group.
The meeting will take place on 20 April 2016 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and will facilitate discussions among members of the Commonwealth, Francophonie and the G20 on issues of mutual interest.
This year’s dialogue will include an update on the overall G20 agenda, discussions about the G20’s contribution to the implementation of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and insights learned from a joint accountability survey. It will focus on developing country perspectives from the Commonwealth and Francophonie on the role of the G20 in supporting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
