The Commonwealth will be holding a regional consultation on ‘Harnessing Trade Policy for Global Integration’ for the Asia-Pacific region on 28-30 May in Singapore. It will be the first such consultation to bring together member countries from two Commonwealth regions – Asia and the Pacific.

It will be the first such consultation to bring together member countries from two Commonwealth regions – Asia and the Pacific – to discuss key issues in regional and multilateral trade, including two developed countries, Australia and New Zealand.
Policymakers will look at emerging trade issues, assess their potential effects on Commonwealth countries, and develop suitable responses and key advocacy messages.
Singapore has consistently been the world-class performer in logistics among Commonwealth countries. Delegates will also take part in practical site visits to see best practices in action.
