A launch event for the report: Quantitative Analysis of the Move to Paperless Trade - Clear imperatives to accelerate legal reform
This invite-only virtual event will present the economic benefits to be gained by countries across the Commonwealth moving from paper-based to paperless trade, highlighted by the launch of the Commonwealth’s new report, Quantitative Analysis of the Move to Paperless Trade.
It will cover key insights on the cost of trade across the Commonwealth and the quantitative benefits to be gained by moving toward paperless trade, presented by the report author.
Speakers will also deliver remarks on the macro context and international progress to-date on the move to paperless trade and its underlying enablers, such as adoption of necessary legal reforms.
The national context will be addressed by a senior official representing a country which has already made the necessary legal reforms and can speak on the experience of doing so.
Finally, the CCA will present on next steps to be taken under the Digital Connectivity Cluster to assist and facilitate more Commonwealth countries in moving from paper-based to paperless trade.
