Vibrant family
Commonwealth Secretary-General, Patricia Scotland said:
“I am delighted to welcome these four organisations to our vibrant family of Commonwealth organisations spanning a range of professions and industries.
“The benefit and enduring strength of the Commonwealth are the product of our shared values and principles, and of the multiple layers and diversity of the networks of connection through which the people and communities of our member countries cooperate.
“Accredited Commonwealth organisations are distinctive examples of how we work together to build a fairer, more inclusive and more sustainable common future for the good of all.”
Accreditation process
The organisations were accredited by the Commonwealth Secretariat Board of Governors, which is made up of High Commissioners or senior diplomats from all 54 member states.
Accredited organisations are trusted partners of the Commonwealth Secretariat in delivering its mandate in response to the needs of member countries and in accordance with the values and principles of the Commonwealth Charter.
