Following the huge success of the first Black History Month event last Friday, you are cordially invited to the second event which is a webinar on the topic: ‘Unlocking the Power of Allyship in the Workplace'.
The main objective of Black History Month is to celebrate the achievements and contributions of black people to British Society and the world, and to educate the public and build awareness of Black history.
This webinar/facilitated discussion will tackle the stigma around what it means to be an ally and how to integrate allyship into the workplace. Our keynote speaker will explore the definition of allyship, the importance of allyship, and how allyship can be a catalyst for overcoming unconscious biases and unlocking opportunities for people of colour in the workplace. An open session will follow where participants can share their thoughts and views on the topic.
The event will be held virtually on Wednesday 12 October 2022, from 3:00PM – 4:30PM BST.
