Leadership is the focus of this year’s celebration of International Girls in ICT Day.
The Commonwealth Secretariat will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, 25 April 2024, to further its commitment to accelerate gender equality and the empowerment of girls through technology.
The focus of this year’s webinar is to inspire national and global initiatives and discussions to enhance the inclusion of girls in ICT education, policy-making, and the broader technology ecosystem. These discussions will also feed into related topics at the forthcoming Commonwealth Women’s Forum at CHOGM in Samoa in October 2024.
It is hoped that the momentum gained through the #GirlsinICT campaign will contribute to the broader efforts to advance gender equality in the technology sector.
